Video Packaging

Thumbnails and titles are a viewer's first impression of your video. Making sure they're attention-grabbing while encompassing a video's topic is an art.

Descriptions are a chance to signal to the algorithm your video's content. See the "SEO" section for more.

Audience Engagement

Creating a community around your channel is a great way to gain and maintain repeated viewers. Utilizing YouTube's Community Tab (which allows for polls, quizzes, and more) adds another layer to your audience's engagement.

Image Asset Creation

The asset creation does not stop with thumbnails. Community Posts and Channel Banners are another important element of managing a channel. They allow you to reach new audiences, promote your channel's content, and engage with your subscribers.

Miscellaneous Tasks

There are a myriad of minor details that go into packaging a single video, let alone maintaining an entire YouTube channel. Luckily, I'm a "leave no stone unturned" type of person.

SEO

Since YouTube is a search engine, your titles and descriptions should contain relevant search terms. That being said, they need to sound like they were written by a human in order to be more appealing to viewers. Balance is key.
